How does your omni-channel recruitment marketing approach pay homage?
Job seekers are so very digitally savvy. But we're still asking them to do ridiculous things like complete a 35-step job application. On their mobile. And then attach their resume to boot. After they've read a terrible job description that's all about us. And then act like we've never seen them before when they revisit our career site to update their profile.
All this, while they're researching all-inclusive resorts on their laptop and then seeing relevant, hyper-targeted vacation ads when they pop open Instagram on their mobile device. Yes, across devices. Across browsers and social channels.
We EXPECT this as consumers. A highly personalized, spookily relevant, engaging experience. And once we've matched to an opportunity, it better be amazingly easy to throw my hat in the ring. As easy as it is to cart items on Amazon.
This is for active job seekers who are making an effort, shall we talk about passive talent who aren't even looking for you?
